We welcome you to our recently renovated and spacious 2300 sqft apartment located in the TDR Shama building in the heart of the city where you mingle with Nepali culture and tradition. You will be in one of the most secure buildings in the town with 4 electronic security measures. There will be no need to worry regarding general comforts such as hot water, air conditioning & heating or electricity. Our family lives on the top floor of the building and will be there to help you anytime! The space The TDR name stands for location, convenience and comfort in a city where these features are very difficult to find. We, at TDR, have worked tremendously hard to provide the best possible design in order to bring a space to life, so that anyone staying in the space enjoys it to the fullest. For us, a house is not just a house, it needs to be a home. This is the first effort for us to enter into the array of AirBNB and vacation rentals. We can assure you that once you stay with us, you will never use a hotel or any other vacation rental when coming to Nepal. The apartment in itself is very spacious @2300 sqft per apartment and the apartment building itself only has 4 apartments: One per floor and privacy is well thought off since guests will not be able to see other guests even while on different balconies in the building. [Please note: The balconies are the only place that can be used for smoking.] Whilst staying with us, you will be able to open the main gate with a push of a button and will be ushered in by our dogs Woody and Elsa (both very friendly). Entering from the glass front door will require you to enter a code, you may then use the elevator {which requires a key of the specific floor to be inserted before operation} or use the stairs. Even if you use the stairs, you will need to enter a different code in your floor in order to enter. The elevator leads you straight to your apartment. The apartment building, although small at just 6 floors, is larger than other nearby buildings and hence guests can get a magnificent view of the city and the mountains. The gym (small exercise room) is located in the terrace as well. Our location is ideal for both business guests who have offices in Lalitpur and for tourists, as no attraction in the valley is more than 7 kms away. Moreover, there are more than 50 restaurants in less than 2 km radius around the apartment. Guest access Mi casa es su casa! You can use anything that is available in the entire apartment (other than the rooms that you didn't book). Use the TV, the kitchen appliances and the combi washer & dryer without any worries. There is a gym on the terrace and a home theater in the ground floor as well. If you have missed out on any of the latest or classic movies, do drop by at the theater and watch to your hearts content. We even have Netflix and Youtube if you just want to stream something out of the services. The experience should blow you away :)
