River Cottage is a luxuriously appointed property just 20 metres from the banks of the Wingecarribee River. The cottage offers a modern, comfortable, country escape. Fall asleep to the sound of the river, read a long awaited book on the porch overlooking the river. Sit around the fire pit regaling the day's adventures with friends. Or snuggle up on the leather lounge in front of the fire place inside. This glorious property truly offers an escape from the hustle and bustle. The space The cottage boasts 2 beautiful bedrooms each with full river views. Each room has a queen bed and a single. Open the louvre windows to bring the sound of the river in. Or the cool breeze at night. Relax in the open plan living area, prepare your meals in the stylishly appointed kitchen. Enjoy a coffee from the fully automated coffee machine. On property, we run cattle and welcome people to come and experience a time away that allows you to slow down and reconnect once again with yourself and partner, or even your family. The roads on the property are weather-prone, but remain 2WD accessible year-round, with routine grading and maintenance. Phone reception ends with the black-top roads, meaning you will have no signal during your stay. However, we have situated an Emergency Wi-Fi Hotspot at the front gate of the Homestead as well as at your lodgings We do not allow high-adventure activities on the property. Guest access Full accommodation is for guests' use only, with the surrounding property able to be explored. Please be mindful when exploring that this is an operating farm property with other private and scheduled accommodations also spotted along the river.
