Four luxury suites have been renovated to their 1872 glory, providing the luxuries expected of a 21st century 5 star hotel high on a ridge overlooking the Hunter River & valley. Close to the Hunter's main wine growing areas, wineries, concert venues & restaurants. We offer an experience of a boutique hotel, more than just a room. The rate advertised is for two people in the Julia Wyndham Suite. Other room rates apply for our larger suites - please check out our website for details. Included in the accommodation rate for all guests are - a-la-carte cooked country breakfast; - complementary bottled water replaced daily; - welcome drinks on arrival; - locally made toiletries; - bathrobe and slippers for your use throughout your stay; - complementary refridgerated storage for your wine purchases; - evening bed turn-down service including port and chocolates;. - free wifi; - free use of ipads provided in each suite during your stay; and - complementary tea and coffee making facilities available on the Grand Veranda (1st floor). Guest access Guests have free use of the sitting room (with it's fire lit during the cooler nights), the Grand Veranda (breakfast dining and a sun trap), the Dining Room (available for private dinners), the Front Terrace (a great place to enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the Hunter Valley - watch the life of a milking cow and enjoy the glow of Newcastle on the horizon) and the 13 acres of garden that Leconfield House provides. We live onsite at the back of Leconfield House. We have a bell which guests can ring whenever they need assistance, have a question or would like something to drink. During your stay We will provide a complete professional service to ensure all your needs are met without being intrusive. Other things to note Leconfield House is located a short drive ( 10 - 20 minutes) from Pokolbin, the Hope Estate, the Hunter Valley Gardens and around 140 wineries and restaurants. We have available, for the exclusive use of guests, a transport for up to 8 guests to transfer you to and from concerts, restaurants and wineries.
