Charming cottage hidden in tranquil native bush above world famous surf break at Manu Bay. Huge views of ocean and surf. This unique property has access to a secluded beach through private bush tracks. Self contained with all the amenities you need The space This cosy cottage is situated on a native bush block in the Manu Bay Coastal Reserve area, it is ideal for couples as a romantic getaway or friends and families looking for a relaxing break. However if you tire of lazing around the cottage enjoying views of the ocean, stars and flourishing bird life, there are many attractions to explore while at Manu Bay. On the property, a short walk through bush takes you to a large clearing with stunning views over Manu Bay, the Tasman Sea and Ngarunui Beach. The track continues on down to the shore, where a small secluded beach is revealed (swim-able except at high tide). Also in the area are Ngarunui Beach( Raglans main surf beach which has lifeguards on duty through the summer) It is a 20 minute walk (5 mins by car) away. The Manu Bay surf break is accessible by car (2 mins), walk (10 mins) or paddle from the bottom of the property. Raglan township is 7 kms away, it has a great range of cafes, bars, restaurants for the essentials, plus enough other stores to find most supplies your likely to need. Available in the area area yoga classes, a golf course, boat ramps, fishing charters, scenic bush walks, Bridal veil waterfalls, horse treks, kayak and paddle board hire, cycle hire, surf lessons and friendly locals. Guest access Private tree lined driveway, parking for 2 cars. Downstairs bedroom with king bed. Loft bedroom with queen bed and two floor mattresses. Open plan living and kitchen facility. Toilet and shower. Laundry facility. There is one other house on the 4.5 acre property which is used by our family . The house is out of sight of the cottage, and your stay here will be private. Other things to note The stairs to the loft bedroom are steep. Some parts of the bush track are steep but manageable by people of moderate fitness. Cellphone coverage is patchy. The cottage has fibre broadband.
