The space The flat has been completely rewired with new plumbing and sanitary fittings, new tiling, new wood floors, new picture windows providing panoramic sea and harbour views, and located next to a hidden beach with no roads in sight, and therefore a quiet location with a bright and breezy perspective. Clean bed linen and towels are provided once a week. Other cleaning services are available for an extra charge. There is a one off cleaning and linen fee for check in and check out. The Queen sized bed in main bedroom is about Length: 201 cm Width: 169 cm The Double bed in second bedroom is a hidden bed with a double sofa seater which can also be used to expand the width of the hidden bed to queen size when pulled out. Length: 190 cm Width: 140 - 190 cm The Third bedroom has a loft bed above a 'Sultan Sorfors' bed of about Length: 189 cm Width: 153 cm The loft bed is about Length: 196 cm Width: 99 cm Height: 157 cm The sofa bed is Queen-sized. Additional furniture can be requested and subject to first come, first served eg. baby cot and high chair. All utility charges (Water, Electricity, Gas) are included with free WiFi Internet service, and multi-channel TV. Guest access Special transport needs - Discovery Bay provides residents with special transport needs within and outside DB: the elderly, the disabled and those suffering from temporary or chronic medical conditions requiring assistance. During summer months, free access to a brand new and large swimming pool located at Amalfi, DB North plaza can be provided by invitation. For terms of 28 nights or more, access to Discovery Bay Clubhouse can be requested but all admin. fees and membership fees will be borne by the guest. Other things to note The number of guests refers to each individual regardless of age, that is, babies included. For late check in or hours between 10pm and 8am, a checking in charge of HK$350 will be applied and payable in cash. For pets, it is an extra charge up to $50 a day up to $500 a month per pet. For bookings of less than 5 nights an additional charge of HK$500 will be applied. For bookings of 5 nights or more, you are provided with a one off complimentary fruit selection, bread, jam, margarine and cookies, and then there is a supply of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate that is refreshed for each new guest, or on a weekly basis. Laundry powder, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is also provided. Appliances include a wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, Wifi and Internet connection, Siemen's washing machine, a Siemen's dryer, a Smeg oven cooker, a Mitsubishi fridge, dishwasher, a whirlpool microwave cooker, a double electric hob hotplate, and the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, dishes, etc to cater for up to 8 people. Clean bed linen and towels are provided once a week. Other cleaning services are available for an extra charge. Please avoid bringing food into bedrooms as the humidity in Hong Kong is ideal for attracting cockroaches and dust mites, and if guests do not comply, then extra charges will be applied for any specialized cleaning that may arise. Please ensure to spray yourself with insect repellent if going to the beach or any countryside for hiking or sports activities as it is easy to pick up bugs, sand flies and mites to the flat.
