Pipers two bedroom self contained apartment is perfect to enjoy while visiting Bridport and North East Tasmania. The property is 40 minutes drive from Derby Mountain Bike trails. Bridport is a seaside town one hour from Launceston. Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm golf links are just a few minutes drive. Yes we have WiFi, a pool table, bbqs and walks around the farm. See you soon. The space Our Covid Safe Plan: Your health and safety and that of our staff are paramount. We thoughly clean and sanitise the home prior to your arrival. We supply liquid soap in the bathrooms and encourage you to wash your hands frequently. We ask that you also wipe down all surfaces with the paper towel and disinfectant, we supply, prior to leaving the accommodation. We also supply disposable gloves for your convenience. Please sort and put all your rubbish in the wheelie bins. We thank you for your co-operation. We offer you peace and quiet and a chance for relaxation. Pipers unit is a private, fully self contained, clean and comfortable, nicely furnished two bedroom accommodation. All linen is supplied, bathroom has shower, fully equipped kitchen has full fridge and stove with oven, flat screen TV and DVD player, radio CD player supplied. FREE WiFi in your apartment. We also have six other rooms or apartments to choose from. Bridport - home of Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm links golf courses, two of the top 100 in the world, just five minutes drive from your home away from home. Platypus Park Country Retreat is registered as a Land for Wildlife property, therefore you should be able to spot a platypus in the river or dams, a wallaby grazing the paddocks or a possum up a tree! Birdlife abounds and the resident Sea Eagle soars over head. "Eco at it's best. Breakfast hampers can be supplied for an extra charge $8.50 per person, this includes our free range eggs. Situated on a small farm, with cattle, trout fishing dams, and walks, it is peace and tranquility. You will also have use of our pool table and games room, BBQ facility and garden Gazebo. Organic vegetable garden, solar power, rain water tanks = sustainability. The town centre is just two minutes by car, or a short walk, where you will have a choice of cafes, hotels and take way food outlets, supermarket, bakery and a variety of other shopping choices. Bridport boast several pristine beaches and you should not miss the wildflower walk, history foreshore walk and the bush to beach walk around the town. If you are lucky you might spot a platypus in our Brid river or farm dams. Our property has solar power, some solar hot water, our own mini waste water treatment plant, recyled water, compost station, and recycling area and worm farm, not only that we collect and rely totally on rain water for our supply to all apartments.
