Welcome to the Snooty Goose, nestled on the hillside of the Smith Ranch. Sweeping views of Bear Lake, this spacious 2,400 sqf top floor offers plenty of space for the whole family with the nostalgia of Grandma's. Accommodates 16+ people (extra nightly fee per persons, 17-20). Make time to relax on the wraparound deck while grilling & chilling with family & friends. 9 minutes from Garden City and 5 mins from the marina, you are close to all the local services. Owners live on property! Guest have sole access to the entire first floor. Over 2,400 square feet, boasting two private ADA compliant entrances, wraparound deck, four bedrooms, full kitchen, dining area, two full bathrooms, WIFI and laundry room. Bring your big-boy/girl toys, lots of boat, ATV, and snowmobile parking. No RV’s or tents allowed. Guest are welcome to the entire top floor and to explore the surrounding property and fire pit. The owners live one the bottom floor. They are super friendly and would love to interact and answer questions if you want. Otherwise you will barely notice they are there. The homeowners, Burnell and Toni live on the bottom floor of the property. Toni will likely greet you when you arrive and would be happy to show you around the house if you would like her to. She was born and raised at the lake. This was formerly her family ranch. She loves the area and loves sharing her knowledge. You are welcome to reach out to them for anything you need but they are happy to stay out of your way and keep to themselves. The Smith Ranch has a long legacy in Bear Lake and was once over 2,500 acres. It has been in our family for over 120 years. However, generations later it is now just a few hundred acres split among extended family. It has not been actively ranched for more than 50 years. Enjoy wide-open spaces with very few trees to block the view of the lake. There is a small gully behind the house where deer like to get out of the sun. We do on very rare occasions see moose, bears, and mountain lions, as well as smaller wild animals so stay alert while walking around. When pulling into the house pull around to the top. Please do not park in front of the lower level this is a separate apartment in the home.
