Of course, at the top, on the southern slope of the Kahlen Asten, directly on the Rothaarsteig and on the Hochsauerland Höhenstraße, lies our small country inn. We have been providing warm hospitality for over 160 years. In the restaurant, we serve regional dishes from local farmers. In 2015, we achieved a score of 1.43 at the Westphalian Gastronomy Award. The hiking trails start at the front door. As a founding member of the Sauerland Wandergasthöfe, we are one of the hiking professionals in the Sauerland. As a certified hiking guide, we will give you the best tips. For your winter hike, you are welcome to rent snowshoes and sleds here in the house. A bobsled track and bike park with adventure bridge are 5 km away. The Langewiese ski resort is within walking distance. The Postwiese ski resort is only 2 km away, 5 km away you have an entrance to the Winterberg ski carousel.  Brand new is our Panorama Wellness area with combined Finnish/bio sauna, a Hydrosoft wellness sauna, a massage room for medical or wellness massages, a relaxation room and a roof terrace.
