Quiet lake view cabin in Gull Bay on Lake George

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The term "camp" is what is used up in Putnam to describe these quaint cabins from the 1940s. We are located on Lake George, but the protected Gull Bay provides opportunities to take out our kayaks around the bay! Gull Bay is a quiet community and very family-friendly. We are often on-site as we have a unit in the back, connected only by a deck. The space Each year we try to renovate part of the space! New for 2024 are 2 adult kayaks and 2 kids kayaks and a new hot water heater. Last year we upgraded the floors in the Kitchen and Dining Area. We also put in new doors that have blinds and an upgraded screen. We are often on-site, as we have a separate unit in the back. We have Wi-Fi hooked up to an Amazon Prime stick for TV. An AC unit provides some relief during the day, but it is often not needed at night. Our cabin is on a septic system. We have recently replaced leaking sinks and old toilets and are striving to reduce our water usage. Please help us conserve water and do not let the water run. Please do not pour oils down the drain. One bedroom contains a queen bed and the other bedroom has a full bed and a bunk bed with two twins, we ask that you bring your own sheets and pillowcases. Pillows and blankets are provided. Please also bring towels for both the shower and the lake! Just an FYI, we are in the woods, you will encounter bugs and wild animals. We find moving one of the fans outside and putting on low will blow the bugs away in the evenings!! Guest access Guest have the whole 2 bedroom unit to themselves and part of the outdoor deck space. Guests can walk to Gull Bay Beach with the beach cart or Kayak. The Kayak can be launched from the dock, or from the beach on the side near the reeds. (We do not have our own dock space) Other things to note Kitchen Items: Range, Toaster Oven / Air Fryer, Toaster, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Keurig, and Pots/Pans and Utensils. Basic cooking supplies like Oil, Cooking Spray, Salt, etc. We have the following amenities: Grill, Patio Furniture, Cooler, Beach Cart, 2 Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrella, 2 adult kayaks and 4 kids kayaks with Life-Vests, High-chair, Pack and play, 2 oscillating fans, and ceiling fans in all rooms, and 1 AC unit in cabin. We have kids toys in the white buffet, including board games and some baby toys. There is a training potty in the closet in the bathroom too. We also have a Chimenea, just stop for some camp wood on the way! Kids toys outside (Water table, picnic table, small slide) these are shared with our unit and our 8 year old daughter, if we are up!
