Welcome to CaseMaggi! Portovenere is a lovely coastal town part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along with The Cinque Terre. Our fully remodeled Sea View Terrace apartment has a lovely private terrace that wraps around the apartment providing incredible views of the Portovenere beaches, the Gulf of Poets, Palmaria island and the Ligurian coastline. There is also a private staircase down to the beach. Just about a 15 min walk to the restaurants and waterfront promenade. CIN: IT011022C2J2IOGYR4 The space Sea View Terrace is newly remodeled and provides a light open sunny space floating above the sea. Guest access STAIRS/NO ELEVATOR There are 60 steps up to the apartment from street level. There is no lift/elevator. Those with limited mobility may have difficulty without assistance. PARKING Street parking can be difficult in the high seasons. If you can come by train to La Spezia it will be easier. Other things to note PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING Stairs: Portovenere is built on a steep hillside, so almost every home here is reached on foot and up steps. For the Sea View Terrace there are 60 steps up from the street, and there is no lift. If anyone in your party has limited mobility, please write to us before you book and we will tell you honestly whether this apartment will work for you. TOURIST TAX Portovenere has implemented a tourist tax of 2 euro per person per day, up to 4 days, for guests aged 16 and up. REGISTRATION Please provide your identity documents prior to arrival. ARRIVAL Before arrival, we provide all guests with detailed instructions on how to reach the apartment. Portovenere is reachable by train to La Spezia and then bus or taxi (20-25 minutes), or by car. Arrival by car: like most homes in Portovenere, our building has no parking of its own. There is paid street parking below the building, and a public car park about ten minutes' walk away. There is room to stop and unload your bags before you go and park. We provide directions and parking guidance before arrival. If you want to know more before you book, just write to us. MORE ON PARKING Portovenere has three zones for street parking: P1, P2, and P3. The zone near the apartment is P3.
