Eco-retreat surrounded by nature 3 km from the sea

The Trull (mill in Catalan) is an eco retreat immersed in the mountains and only 15 minutes drive to the beach (SUV), with fire place for the winter and private swimming pool for the summer. The outdoor area overlooking mountains and its strategically placed for privacy, will make this a truly unique experience. There are no adjacent homes and you'll find yourself immersed in pure nature. The only sounds you're likely to hear are wind through the trees, and birds which glide from tree to tree. The space The property was a stone mill surrounded by nature, and it’s been totally remade preserving the old elements and with great attention to detail. The Trull has been updated with such "modern luxuries" as electric lighting, a wood-burning stove, running water and phone signal. The house is ideal for couples, it offers a bedroom upstairs to sleep comfortably in a queen-sized bed, an open kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and four terraces, one of them with a private outdoor pool and an olive tree. And an unforgettable view towards the vineyards and mediterranean forest! Guest access Just walking uphill from the property, you will get to some ruins (dating 10th century) with an impressive gothic arch with views to vineyards. Following the pathway, you'll see stunning coastal scenery to Cap de Creus and the French border. The Trull generates its own energy (through solar panels) to supply the needs of the house. The pumping of water in the house is drawn from a well with 90 meters depth. Other things to note NOTE: This is a unique place and is not for everyone. It is an eco retreat at its best but with that, comes nature in all its glory. Please read carefully. * No Wi-Fi, come to unplug! * No air-con. * No kids under 12.
