Our property boasts unparalleled views of Greenwood Lake and the mountains beyond. Our private garden features a seasonal waterfall cascading into a lily pond with fish and frogs. The shaded patio offers panoramic views and a gas grill. During the winter months, after skiing at nearby slopes, unwind in the claw foot tub or retreat to the cozy ambiance of our living room, with exposed wooden ceilings, a welcoming fireplace, a smart TV, a record player and board games. The space We’re an 8-minute walk or a 2-minute drive from a private community beach and a 5-minute walk from a hiking trail that connects to the Appalachian Trail. Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook and serve. Bath towels, beach towels, and basics are provided. Greenwood Lake, spanning 9 miles within Sterling Forest State Park, is only 46 miles/1 hour from NYC. There are wineries, cideries, and breweries abound in the area. We are also near antique stores, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, Legoland, Storm King Sculpture Park, the NJ Botanical Garden, Bear Mountain Zoo, and more. We offer 2 parking spots, with space for 3 cars Tall people please note: The upstairs ceiling height is 6’6’’, and the walk-in shower height is 6’1’’. The New York City Bus stops by our beach. The express bus takes about an hour and 15 minutes, and the regular bus takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
