Cosy 1st floor apartment. Surrounded by communal gardens in a block of 12 stone built (1854) cottage flats. Benefits from sea view of the beautiful Kyles of Bute. Minutes walk from both Hotel and Village store. Bookings up to 4 allowed, but best suited for 2 adults, 2 children, not 4 adults. Sleeps family of 4 (bedroom and sofabed) The space Constructed circa 1900, the Shore cottages building originally housed local workers. Now the cottage flats are mainly second homes. Although there are 12 flats, they are all seldom occupied at the same time. Therefore the flat and surroundings offer great space for peacefully thinking. Accommodation consists : Main door and tiled hall with coat hooks Bedroom – Double bed, built-in mirrored wardrobes provide ample storage Open Plan Living and Kitchen area Living area - Sofabed, window seat, Wood burning stove, wall mounted Freesat television, PS3 for Blu-ray/games, Fast Wi-Fi, Multiple streaming services (Netflix, Prime, NOW TV) Kitchen – well equipped for creating some delicious home cooking, breakfast bar with folding leaf. Bonus of having washer-dryer and Nespresso machine Toilet/Shower room – Decorated in a nautical style, electric shower (no bath) Exterior: Large Communal gardens and furniture – benches, picnic table, clothes lines Guest access Off road parking directly outside gates of property. If this is busy then park on the side of the road further down from the property. There are 3 stairwells in Shore Cottages, facing the sea. #6 is accessed via the middle one. From the gate, you can follow path left or right around the building to the stairwells - Right path has some steps, Left path no steps. #6 is top right of the middle stairwell. Other things to note If only 2 guests are staying and both beds are required, then I need to charge an additional £5 to cover the laundry costs I am charged - Please let me know if 2 beds are required at time of booking. Fair usage of Electricity is expected. Mobile phone coverage can be patchy in this area of mainland Scotland. Vodafone now provides 4G in the area.
