Perched two hundred metres above the magnificent horseshoe bay of Ahai on the west coast of Paxos, the view from Villa Petritis’ terraces is simply stunning. The villa is very comfortable and homely and is arguably the best location on this beautiful island. Villa Petritis nestles in the tiny hamlet of Boikatika which is a 10 minute stroll from the village of Magazia & its bakery, grocery stores and tavernas. The space My parents bought Petritis in 1973 and set about its extensive renovation. They chose its location because the East Coast and its three ports become quite frenetic in peak season but Petritis, on the West Coast, remains secluded and tranquil all year round. I first visited Paxos with my family in 1968 and have visited every year since ... The island will always be my 'second home' as the locals are kind & welcoming and the scenery is idyllic.
