Beautiful small self-contained character cottage set within private garden, one mile from Ascot. Open plan studio room with sitting area, kitchenette and bedroom area; en suite shower room/WC. Perfect for 1-2 adult guests looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay, whether for business or pleasure. It is ideal for visitors to Ascot Races, Windsor, close to Heathrow and a lovely rural retreat less than one hour from central London. The space The Old School House is offered on a self catering basis, although we provide a basic welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, breakfast cereals, snacks and fruit. The comfortable sitting area has a sofa and armchair, coffee table and a small dining table. There is Wi-Fi available, a Bluetooth speaker and TV with Freeview channels. We supply a selection of books, magazines, board games, maps and guidebooks. The cottage has a small kitchen with a one-ring hob, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and toaster, plus cups, glasses, tableware, cutlery, cooking utensils and basic pots and pans for simple cooking and heating food. The bedroom has a kingsize bed with hypoallergenic pillows and duvet, and the linens are 100% cotton. Drawer and hanging wardrobe space is provided together with a luggage storage rack. The bathroom has a shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail; we provide towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. There is also an iron and ironing board. Guest access The Old School House is a separate building in our garden, and during your stay you can come and go at any time. You are welcome to use the garden. We would ask you to not invite additional visitors. Other things to note Our accommodation is unsuitable for children. We do not allow smoking inside The Old School House, but you are welcome to do so outside. You might also meet our cat.
