The main entrance and dining terrace is in the very peaceful main piazza - perfect for meals, a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The kitchen has everything you will need, and the dining area comfortably seats four. The master bedroom sleeps two and has space for a baby cot (which we can provide). A pull out bed in the mezzanine is ideal for older children, though not suitable for those aged under 10 due to the steep stairs up to the 'Soppalco'. The living room and mezzanine both have desks for working. Comfortable sofas & seating, plus the living room fireplace create a homely ambiance. The beautiful pool is a short walk away and has plenty of space to lounge as well as a table and chairs to enjoy a long lunch, drinks, or dinner. Pool use is exclusively for guests of the townhouse. There is a lot of natural light in the house, and all windows have mosquito nets and traditional shutters to let a nice breeze fill the house in the summer months. The central heating and fireplace during the cooler months provide warmth and comfort ... a house for all seasons, be it for a vacation or work... Guest access The whole townhouse as well as private pool is accessible to guests. There are a few labelled private drawers and cupboards however more than enough storage is made available. Other things to note A well stocked basket of key staples welcomes you to Montebenichi and ensures you can relax as soon as you arrive. The heated pool is open from June till October 1st. It is equipped with a counter current and is for the exclusive use of townhouse guests. For adventures, the surrounding Tuscan hills are ideal for walking, horseback riding, cycling (both road and mountain), and running. All trail maps are provided, and hired bikes can be booked ahead and be waiting for you once you arrive via Chianti Bicycles - the owner is happy to advise. Just a 5 minute drive away is one of Europe's premier Polo clubs, Relais La Martina, with matches being held throughout the summer months - a great way to enjoy an afternoon.
