Looking for a large home in an exceptional setting? Come and stay in our house, bourgeois house style with 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and 1 bathroom, large and bright volumes: spend a stay at the gates of Lyon in a timeless and bucolic setting. Walled garden of 4500 m2, free parking for 6 spaces. Located 15 minutes from Lyon, direct train to Part Dieu, at the entrance of the Dombes (bird park, Peruges). The space You will take a step back in time and will be dazzled by the volumes of this vast house with old-fashioned charm: woodwork, herring floors, marble fireplaces, regular upright piano, stone staircase. Since January 2019, we have been reviving this exceptional space: this large bourgeois house of more than 300m2, created by an explorer in 1903. The house was then inhabited by a Lyonese industrial guy, who housed part of his team, then several generations from the same family took over. The Property: The house has very nice volumes and is very bright, facing south. 6 bedrooms, 12 beds, 3 bathrooms, a bathroom, 2 kitchens. House and garden strictly NON-SMOKING The house consists on the ground floor of a beautiful entrance with a mosaic floor, a dining room with a large table for 12 people and an upright piano granted regularly. A living room adjoins the dining room, with two large sofas. A large modern, equipped, warm and family kitchen allows you to prepare good little dishes for everyone and have your meals there on a large wooden table. The stone staircase will take you to the 1st floor, where you will find 4 bedrooms (one double and 3 with two beds, one with toilet, and one with shower), a bathroom with bathtub and double sink and a separate toilet. All rooms have at least one balcony. On the 2nd floor, you will find the extra kitchen in which there is a single sofa bed, and two double bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with double basin, toilet and shower. The garden is large (4500m²), enclosed by walls and includes protected trees (cedars of Lebanon). Ping pong, large format portico, molkie, pétanque, slide, and pool with 20 m swimming lane, secured by a roller shutter (provide your towels for the pool, not provided). On the side of the house are furnished outbuildings: the three T2 are rented year-round. Tenants have access to parking only. They have a courtyard for outdoor use, but do not have access to the house garden. They are extremely discreet. We have some chickens and a rabbit that we entrust to you during your stay. You will be able to enjoy fresh eggs every day! The care of the animals is very simple: just check daily that they have water to eat. We leave everything available. Also, in summer, you can enjoy the vegetable garden with its tomatoes and zucchini. You are 20 minutes from downtown Lyon while being quiet.
