Sweet Taos Country Cottage - Long/Short term

Cute, cozy and compact cottage that has all you need--queen bed + queen mattress in the loft, a private patio with stunning views and the quiet of a country setting at Los Pajaritos. If you are 5'11 or taller the loft may not be for you. Like so much of Taos, you will need a car to get here. PLEASE USE MY DIRECTIONS to find us. The space Our light filled Country Cottage is a stone's throw from our house -- Los Pajaritos -- and sports a sleeping loft with a queen sized mattress and a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed. One bath with shower, + a sunny living/dining room wrapped in glass and with views of Taos Mountain and Picuris Mountain complete the picture. In terms of the setting, we are a short hop into town, but like a recent guest said, the coyotes visit daily--the other day they spotted the magpies chasing one. And our outdoor cats the twins Polynices and Antigone come over to visit even though they are not allowed in. To cut the edge of the summer, we do have A/C. Your own beautiful and private outdoor patio let you relish and drink in the big Taos skies by day or warm by a fire in the outdoor fire pit and watch the stars at night. Sunrises and sunsets are yours to enjoy and come nightfall, all those stars look close enough to pick out of the sky. A short stroll across the field you can enjoy wine and hor'd oeuvres at a picnic table or wander among our small collection of sculpture. If you stay with us please use the directions provided; do not attempt to find us via mapquest or a smartphone. We do have a J1772 Level 2 charger for EVs. Guest access Lots of land to walk on; snow shoes; some bikes; any cooking utensils and equipment that you don't find in the well stocked kitchen we will provide from our home next door. Outdoor gas grilling- yes. A fire pit - yes. Other things to note The cottage comes with a washer and dryer and if grilling outside is your thing we have one waiting. We also have a fire pit to beat back the chill while you sit outside and enjoy the clear starry night sky.
