Historic Trevitt Guest House

The Historic Victor Trevitt Guest House was built in 1868 and is located downtown in Trevitt's Historic District. Saved from demolition and moved twice, it has been lovingly restored. Original trim and hardware have been carefully preserved. Electrical, plumbing and drywall is all new. The high ceilings, original pocket doors, stained glass windows and antique furniture make this seem like you've walked back in time. The house is in the middle of a large double lot. The space The living room features a 49" Smart TV with access to local channels, free Amazon Prime Video, and the ability to stream from your mobile device. Both spacious bedrooms in Trevitt House are upstairs. The Master bedroom has a King-size bed and our blue room has two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom has an antique clawfoot tub with a hand sprayer. There is no shower. Our vintage kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, refrigerator and Keurig coffeemaker supplied with coffee. There is no range or oven, but we are within easy walking distance of many restaurants: Thai, Mexican, Chinese, French, and Indian. Oh yes, there's a Burgerville close by. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house, except the attic. We have a dedicated wi-fi for Trevitt House and the downtown is under the umbrella of The Dalles public wi-fi. Other things to note Our new, vintage-look gas fireplace is now functional! Also a reminder that although we have an antique clawfoot tub with a sprayer, we do not have a dedicated shower.
