Charming cottage with outdoor sauna cottage

The Coudray cottage is a charming cottage with sauna in the heart of the Normandy countryside. Located in the Orne, close to the village of Camembert, this warm house is typically Norman, mixing bricks and half-timbering. Totally independent, it is at the center of a preserved environment: a 2000 m² garden and pastures as far as the eye can see. And for total relaxation, it has a sauna chalet in the garden with a covered terrace with a living room. Electric car charger. The space The cottage sleeps 4 people. Two bedrooms are available: a master suite with walk-in shower and toilet, 180 x 200 bed; a 13 m² bedroom with 180 x 200 bed that can be converted into 2 90 x 200 beds. A second, spacious bathroom is equipped with a large bathtub. We have a crib with mattress, mattress protector and fitted sheet as well as a high chair. Quality bed and bath linens, bathrobes, toiletries, slippers, etc. are provided. Fully equipped kitchen with appliances (multifunction oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with freezer) and many cooking utensils to simmer local products (including a branded cast iron casserole). A laundry room is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. Outside, a terrace with direct access to the living room with table, benches and a huge parasol. Adjacent to the sauna, a covered terrace with garden furniture to relax in any season (blankets provided) especially after a sauna session and an open terrace with table and chairs for dining under the stars, lit by a garland of colored lights. Another outdoor lounge area is available to vary the views during your moments of relaxation and sharing. Hammock, sunbathing and deckchairs, to move as you wish are at your disposal for total relaxation. The Norwegian sauna (dry sauna) has a vestibule to change and relax between sessions and an outdoor shower to experience the true benefits of the sauna. For a serene arrival we offer welcome products: soap, shampoo and organic shower gel but also condiments, coffee, tea, a small emergency kit for your first breakfast and other small touches... The cottage is an LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) refuge. We do not use any insecticides or phytosanitary products. The Coudray cottage is officially rated 4 stars by Atout France. Guest access All areas are accessible. You can enjoy the sauna at any time of day or night. Other things to note Remote work is possible. There is a small desk and a Wi-Fi connection New since September 2025: the Cottage du Coudray has a satellite connection that allows an ultra-fast connection! An electric vehicle charging station is available for gîte guests.
