We have severe allergies and do not accept animals Tucked away in a quiet secluded valley just 3 miles inland from the North Cornish coast lies Hendra Retreat .Set in a peaceful location away from traffic. We have 3 modern barn conversions here that offer accommodation with self-catering facilities for those who prefer an independent break. Owl's Roost is a lovely contemporary and stylish barn with free parking We are just ten minutes drive to the coast and are ideal for families. The space Owl's Roost is a modern contemporary barn that sleeps 4. plus 1 infant only .It is on 2 levels. The entrance level has 3 ft twin beds UK standard length, TV, en-suite with a walk in Myra shower and WC . Down 7 stairs to the open plan diner, lounge and well equipped kitchen and garden. The patio doors lead out onto the a 5FT fenced in private garden with all-weather artificial grass with views across the valley. Large master bedroom, TV, En-suite, walk in Myra shower and WC Facilities include Microwave Dishwasher Cooker Hob Washing machine 40" Smart TV lounge TV in each bedroom Hairdryer Blackout curtains Free Wi-Fi Parking for 2 cars right outside the property. Please park sensibly on the tarmac. It has a BBQ table. You will need to provide a disposable BBQ for this to sit on top. Garden furniture is chairs and small tables for drinks. We have a large maintained field with stunning views for families to enjoy right beside your property. Our guests tell us it is an excellent extra. We have our own spring water supply that is UV filtered to British Standards. EV CHARGER new for 2022 This is a smart EV project charger. You will need to download the app. You will need your own lead. All instructions are beside the charger. Prices are 80 p per kwh which can go up or down and £1 connection fee. The price reflects the installation costs and the convenience of being able to charge on site. We are family run and you have 2 neighbours from the other barns. Please keep noise to a minimum at all times and be very quiet after 10PM especially if you are in the garden . Any groups of youngsters age 21 and under please enquire prior to booking. Guests to supply these. Shared utility room with laundry facilities, tap outside for wet suits and a washing line to hang them. Other things to note Dogs and pets. We are very sorry we love animals but we have allergies and this is a health issue for us. We are not pet friendly here at Hendra and do not allow any of the above. . Should you turn up with a pet we would have to do get a company in to do a deep clean, discard all duvets and bedding at your expense of a minimum sum of £300 upwards. You will be asked to leave with no refund for the duration of your stay. Internet is usually very good however we are rural and occasionally lose it . This is out of our control and cannot be responsible for it . No smoking in the house but in the garden is okay. No parties or events. Be respectful and quiet after 11. Check in is anytime after 4pm Check out by 10am prompt. You will incur an additional charge of £20 per hour thereafter. Respect other guests. We DO NOT charge a cleaning fee like most people as we want to keep YOUR COSTS down . To help us We ask guests to Put the recycling/rubbish out, Strip the beds and put in a bundle.. Do all your dishes. Travel cots and highchairs are available. Guests are to bring all bedding for these. Please let us know in advance should you want one. We also have 2 more barns next to each other, one sleeps 6 (Piglet's) one sleeps 4 (Milking parlour). They have the best sound proofing as the walls are very thick. Check in is at 1600hrs. Early check in from 2pm if we can staff this for an additional £25.00 to be paid in cash. Please let us know in advance. We are away from passing traffic.
