Riverside house, close to lake and restaurants

A gorgeously light and spacious central village house, sleeps 8 (up to 6 adults). It’s my beloved house, recently renovated, which I rent occasionally.Bordering the ambling river, it's 3 minutes walk from a swimming lake with a beach. There are 5 cafe-restaurants within strolling distance, some hosting live acoustic music. This is a relaxed, peaceful village surrounded by the stunning foothills of the Pyrenees. Puivert castle, one of the famous Cathar castles, overlooks the village.Pets welcome! The space There are two double bedrooms, one with a king-size bed. The third is a twin bedroom. There’s a large attic bedroom of restricted height with child-sized beds. There's also a single bedroom downstairs, and a sofa bed in the open plan sitting room/kitchen. There's a big bathroom, and a shower room. The house also contains a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The garden comprises a shady terrace at the front of the house with dining table, BBQ and flowerbeds re-done for the 2021 season, plenty big enough to eat in comfort. There's a grassed piece of land at the side of the house which gives you access to the river (it's a fine river, though depending on rainfall, it can be static in high summer) . I hope the 'terrain' will be abundant with wildflowers for the 2021 season (if they take!) Guest access The entire property.
