A charming house inside an historical castle park

Ideally located 3 km from the center of Bayeux and 7 km from the sea, this 18th century charming house is located in the park of the Château de Barbeville, classified as a Historic Monument. A south facing terrace allows you to enjoy the sun and the view on a lovely garden and a superb panorama. The park has tennis (shared with the owners), a trampoline and a ping pong table, in an environment of calm and neat greenery... The space The 200 m2 house consists of a ground floor with an entrance, laundry, toilet with handwasher, kitchen opening onto a large dining room, and a very large and comfortable living room. On the 1st floor there is a separate toilet, three large bedrooms ( 2 king size beds, with possibility to put one of the two in single beds, and a queen size bed) and two modern bathrooms, one of them communicating with two bedrooms. The whole is decorated with research and refinement giving this house a very cozy feel. The location is ideal for discovering all the landing sites, the beautiful city of Bayeux and the very beautiful region of Bessin, but also to enjoy the beaches or tennis of the property. Guest access Our guests enjoy a very large house (200m2) with a large lounge, a large well-equipped kitchen open to a large dining room; the bedding is good and very comfortable, the beds are made on arrival for a more cozy welcome; the garden behind the house where the tennis is located is open to them as well as the garden in front of the house facing south with a distant view of a beautiful flowered garden, planted with yew and ancestral boxing on the background of century-old trees. Other things to note If our guests wish, we can recommend our housekeeper to do household chores that they are safe to clean, cook, or babysit. Many toys and/or equipment for children are available at their request: beds, baby chairs or armchairs, appropriate dishes, etc...
