Golden Beach: Amazing View and Private Pool

Elegant villa with panoramic view on the Aegean. A private swimming pool and a garden with olive and other trees invite house guests to relax. Just 2km from Golden Beach, Paros' most famous beach, the house is ideally located: Very quiet surroundings, only 10-15 min. walk to the tavernas and bars of the village of Drios, and to Drios Beach. All towns (Naousa, Paroikia, Piso Livadi, Marpissa) and beaches are between 10 and 30 min. drive away. The space The architecture of the house combines the traditional construction of the Cyclades with modern equipment and aesthetic, architectural details. 50 cm thick walls, room heights over 3 m, ceilings made of walnut trees from Mount Athos. The house is located on the slope of a hill with a south-east direction. During the summer, the sun shines from the sunrise to the early evening directly on the house. From all rooms and from the spacious terrace you can enjoy a panorama view of the Aegean: Naxos, Koufonissia, Ios... On days with clear view, you can see the horizon up to seven Aegean islands. A private swimming pool (about 5x7 m) and a garden with olive trees, figs, apricots and other local plants invite house guests to relax. Only 2 km away you will find Golden Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You can go surfing, sailing, swimming or simply enjoy the sun on the crystal clear water and the fine sand beach. The entire house is located on one level and consists of a kitchen/living room, two bedrooms and a guest apartment with two bedrooms, and a separate entrance. All rooms have access to the wide terrace with a south-east direction and a stunning panorama view of the Aegean. In the entire indoor and outdoor area you will not find one step, which is particularly good for families with small children and for older guests. Particularly practical is that both bedrooms and the guest room have their own bathrooms with showers and WC. In the living room you will find a dining table with a stone bench. According to traditional Aegean architecture, all walls are white and the doors and window frames are sky blue. Countless architectural details (depositions in the walls, discrete reading lights by the beds, stylish lights, etc.) give the house elegance and make living here a wonderful experience. In the main apartment you will find two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a double bed (width of 1.60 m), a private bathroom with shower/WC and walk-in closet. In the children's room you will find two single beds on which adults can sleep well (size 90 x 200 cm). The children's room also has a private bathroom with a shower/WC. Finally, the guest apartment has a room with double bed (width of 1.60 m), one smaller one with a bunk bed (sleeping two) and a private bathroom with a shower/WC. All beds are walled corresponding to the traditional Cyclade architecture in stone. All bedrooms are on the ground floor, have a door or window to the terrace, sea view and are particularly light thanks to the south-east direction. The guest apartment has a separate entrance and an access to the terrace. A cleaning woman comes once a week to clean the house and terraces, make the beds and wash the laundry. Travel time: Paros is worth a visit nearly throughout the year: during April and May, the landscape blooms and you can enjoy it best while hiking or cycling. June and September are the best months for the summer holiday, as it is quite busy during July and August. In October, sometimes even into November, you can enjoy the comfortable air and water temperatures. Finally, the central location of the island allows for a lot of short trips to the many islands nearby. In the harbour of Parikia, daily tours are offered, like to Antiparos, Mykonos, Delos, Koufonissia and Santorin. Sailing tours to the surrounding beaches and island cruises, including food on board with fresh fish are included. Guest access The whole house is available to the guests. For 5 or 6 guests, the guest apartment is also made available.
