Chalet Soleil is in a lovely location, perfect for winter skiing and also great for Summer walks and activities. The chalet is fully equipped with all home from home comforts with a wood burner in the living room for the cooler nights and a large deck which is great for a summer evening. The space Chalet Soleil offers a high-quality self-catering experience in a traditional wooden chalet. Our mission is to create a welcoming home-from-home atmosphere, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their alpine adventure. Welcome to our lovely chalet, spread across three inviting levels! Let’s start at the ground floor, where you'll find a charming entrance hall together with laundry facilities, a small freezer, outdoor clothing storage and a cupboard full of games. Just up the stairs, you’ll find the first floor, which boasts an open-plan living and dining area, all seamlessly connected to the kitchen—perfect for entertaining! This level also features a handy shower room, and if you head up another set of stairs, you'll arrive at the second floor. On the second floor, you'll find three lovely bedrooms just waiting to welcome you! There’s one cosy double bedroom, perfect for a peaceful night's rest, and two charming twin rooms that are great for friends or family. Each room comes with a wardrobe for storing your clothes and plenty of space for your suitcase and luggage, so you can feel right at home. Plus, there's a family bathroom with a bath, sink, and toilet, making it super convenient for everyone. Why not make the most of the lovely outside space? You can unwind on the deck, where you’ll be treated to beautiful views down the valley, perfect for enjoying with a refreshing glass of wine in hand! Or, if you prefer, you can kick back in the cosy rear patio area, which features a fantastic built-in stone BBQ and some inviting seating. It's a great spot to relax. Guest access There's space for one car on the driveway! If you're bringing along an extra vehicle, no worries at all—there's a lovely free car park just down the road. We want to make your visit as easy as possible! We ask guests to not park on the road in front of the chalet as this can block the road for other residents. A car is essential to get around the local area. Other things to note Chalet Soleil is your perfect winter or summer retreat nestled in the tranquil beauty of the French Alps! During the winter whether you’re a passionate skier/boarder or simply someone who enjoys the wonders of nature, our chalet is just the spot to kick off your winter adventures. With fantastic access to the Les Portes du Soleil ski resorts, you can experience the excitement of skiing or boarding, no matter what your skill level is. Within walking distance there’s a charming restaurant and bar where you can savour delicious local dishes, and you’ll always feel right at home with their warm hospitality. Plus, it’s a dépôt de pain, so don’t forget to order your fresh bread and croissants – they’ll be ready for you the next morning, in time for breakfast! Chalet Soleil is also a fantastic location for summer activities designed to enhance your enjoyment of the great outdoors. Mountain walks are available from your doorstep that allows you to experience the breath-taking beauty of the local landscapes. With varying trails available, you can engage with nature, breathe in the fresh air, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the local wildlife.
