17th century, 110 square-metre, four-storey stone house full of charm, close to amenities in the old part of Forcalquier. The space Come and enjoy the charm of our very original historic four-storey house in the heart of the old town of Forcalquier. Beautiful stone and terracotta tiled floors, stone spiral staircase, and a relaxing terrace leading off the kitchen where you can spend summer evenings. Although the house is in a quiet part of Forcalquier, it is only a few minutes' walk from bars and restaurants. The famous Monday-morning market is also just a short walk away. As you enter the house you walk into a hall/living room; on the first floor is a modern kitchen opening on to a private terrace; on the second floor is the living room/bedroom with a sofa bed and a single bed. On the top floor, there is a large, bright, airy bedroom with en-suite bathroom and mezzanine (also with a single bed). The view from there is lovely, looking out across the roof tops to the hills and mountains beyond Forcalquier. Guest access Although you will be close to everything, just a couple of minutes' walk from restaurants and bars, and the bustling Monday-morning market, the house is in a quiet corner of the old town of Forcalquier. Other things to note Good wifi speed, plus a comfortable dedicated workspace. Past guests have pointed out that this is a good place from which to work remotely.
