Lots of green space available for children, lots of games for them. It was my family's home for thirty years: a real "CORNER OF PARADISE". I loved this house so much, but now my kids are grown up and have decided otherwise. That's why I'd like to offer other people, groups and families the opportunity to experience the great thrill of living in contact with nature, without any disturbance, in complete freedom. The house's lawn, fully fenced and with an entrance gate (suitable for your four-legged friends!!!) covers an area of about 6000 square meters, and is kept continuously mowed by two automatic night robots, to maintain a beautiful English lawn!! It is now possible to book even on weekends (1 night) for families and groups, an extra service for those with little time! The holiday home is about 7 km from the city of Feltre (10 minutes by car), a walled city with ancient history. Historic center to visit and discover, in particular the Rizzarda Museum and Via Mezzaterra, which hosts the famous PALIO DI FELTRE in August of each year. In the city you will find everything you need for your stay, numerous shops, supermarkets, pastry shops, pizzerias for every taste, restaurants. For urgent needs, there is no shortage of pharmacies and the well-known Feltre Hospital (Ulss Dolomiti) Guests have access to a wellness area and a small above-ground swimming pool (8 m² - open May-September), an infrared sauna, followed by a nice shower with hydromassage and chromotherapy, bathrobes and slippers, ideal for relaxing after returning from the countless excursions that start directly from here. The house is equipped with everything you need to spend a pleasant vacation: games for both children and adults, as well as space in the garden; there is no shortage of: children's swing, soccer doors, volleyball net, foosball. THE HOUSE IS SUITABLE FOR SMART WORKING HAVING AN EXCELLENT AND FAST INTERNET CONNECTION WITH A NEWLY INSTALLED SATELLITE STARLINK, WHICH COVERS THE CONNECTION ON THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ALSO IN THE EXTERNAL PERIMETER. If during the day you have fun between the various activities or relaxing in the sauna or on the sun loungers around the pool, in the evening the barbecue and the outdoor kitchen allow you to set up wonderful dinners to be consumed at the table under the large porch. The surrounding landscape is characterized by meadows alternating with woods and paths start from the house for excursions in the San Martino Valley directly on foot or in the surrounding mountains. The house is on two floors. On the ground floor: kitchen with a large living room. Also on the ground floor there are two bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub, while on the first floor there are the other two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. The house is super equipped with every comfort and is heated in winter. There is also a breakfast corner to prepare a great breakfast. The wellness room with infrared sauna and 2-seat shower with whirlpool is accessed externally. The playhouse built in wood by the owner is really special: a real two-room miniature house where the little ones can take refuge to play, draw or read. From the house, from which numerous paths for simple walks or hiking trails depart, it is also the starting point to discover the Belluno Dolomites Park, crossed by the Alte Vie of the Dolomites no. 1 and no. 2 and by a network of over 200 km of CAI trails, in addition to nature and themed trails. A CAI guide is available to guide you on alpine excursions, by prior arrangement. Endless roads that climb the mountains make the area one of the most popular destinations for cyclists and cycling tourists. In June, Feltre hosts one of the most important cycling races, the Sportful-Campagnolo. In summer, Lake Santa Croce (50 km) is the realm of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. 20 km away Lake Corlo and 30 km away Lake Mis with the La Soffia waterfall and the extraordinary Cadini del Brenton, set in a wonderful landscape, offer cold waters in which to cool off. The area is famous for hang gliding and paragliding on Mount Avena. For winter sports lovers, there is plenty of choice: the Palaghiaccio in Feltre (7 km), Mount Avena (18 km) with ski slopes, woods and spaces for freeride exploration with snowboarding, large trails dedicated to cross-country skiing and Mount Nevegal (43 km) for cross-country and ski mountaineering. But within less than 100 km you can reach slopes for all tastes and levels: the Falcade – Passo San Pellegrino area (66 km), offers some of the most beautiful slopes of the Dolomiti Superski or the Monte Civetta area (65 km) with over 80 km of slopes suitable for all skill levels, San Martino di Castrozza – Passo Rolle (50 km), offers 60 km of slopes between 1404 and 2357 meters, Cortina d'Ampezzo (100 km) with its 130 km of slopes up to the Marmolada glaciers (90 km), the highest peak of the Dolomites (3342 meters) which also has the longest ski slope (13 km) as well as the spectacular cable car that allows guests to reach 3250 meters and enjoy an incredible 360° view of the Dolomites. The house is a great starting point for visiting the most famous Venetian cities of art: Treviso (63 km), Vicenza (90 km), Venice (100 km), Padua (90 km). 7 km from the house is the center of the city of Feltre, all to be visited. In Feltre there is a huge ICE RINK where you can skate all year round and 3 km away there is also a SWIMMING POOL for adults and children. The ski slopes of Monte Avena are 12 km away and the Alpe del Nevegal ski slopes are 30 km away. For beer lovers, 3 km away in Pedavena, there is a historic brewery that offers a wide selection of draft beers accompanied by local specialties, very famous being the largest existing in Europe. 20 km from the house, you can visit the PROSECCO DI VALDOBBIADENE AREA (UNESCO HERITAGE SITE) with tasting of the best DOC wines (Prosecco, Cartizze, etc.) 30 km away is the city of BASSANO DEL GRAPPA, birthplace of GRAPPA NARDINI and the production of local grappas. 4 km away is the Belluno DOC Lattebusche milk and cheese factory, with a large WHITE BAR to taste the typical cheeses. 80 km from the sea of Jesolo; you can visit Venice, Cortina d'Ampezzo and Cadore. There is certainly no shortage of food and wine: in these areas you eat very well everywhere and from spring to autumn, in the surrounding villages, it is all a succession of festivals dedicated to locally produced products, an opportunity to learn about the typical food and wine of the area and to have fun between stands and music. The house is reached via a 500 m partly paved and partly dirt road that is easy to travel. For weekly/monthly stays, the guest will need to notify the owner of their CHOICE TO USE THE JACUZZI TUB. IN THIS CASE, THE WEEKLY/MONTHLY PERIOD WILL BE CONSECUTIVE and CANNOT BE SPLIT. The cost is equal to the use, disinfection and cleaning of the tub, as well as the cost of electricity for heating the tub. For stays longer than 3 days, the cost will be based on electricity consumption (there is a special meter for the Jacuzzi) and equal to €0.60 per Kw actually consumed. For SHORT STAYS (LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 3 NIGHTS) the daily cost in this case for use, disinfection, cleaning, water heating, etc. is offered at a flat rate of €40.00 per day regardless of the number of guests ABOVE GROUND POOL Also in the summer months, a large above-ground swimming pool is available. Use of this is free. USE OF ELECTRICITY TO RECHARGE YOUR CAR The house is equipped with an outlet to recharge your car. The fee is €0.60 per Kw consumed. An initial reading will be made and one at the departure of the house's ENEL meter. AUTUMN-WINTER USE OF LPG GAS HEATING In the autumn-winter period, the guest can use the LPG heating of the house with radiators at a cost of €6.00 per cubic meter of gas consumed. There is also a wood-burning stove (free) HOUSE CLEANING (HOUSEKEEPER) AND CHANGE OF SHEETS/TOWELS A cleaning lady (housekeeper) is available at the guest's request for cleaning and changing sheets/towels. The hourly cost to be paid directly to the housekeeper is €15.00 per hour. Guest access Guests will have access to the ground floor, the very spacious kitchen-living room, the two bedrooms on the ground floor and the bathroom, and the two attic bedrooms on the upper floor. One bedroom includes a crib and changing table for babies. In the kitchen, there is a dishwasher, refrigerator, kettle, bottle warmer, high chair and everything you need for cooking.
