You'll enjoy the sights looking out over the bluff from upstairs where your suite is. Outside is where nature captures your ears with the sounds of roosters, donkeys, dogs and even maybe a peacock. We are just 30 min from Alabama's largest lake, Lake Guntersville State Park. It contains 69,100 acres with 37 miles of hiking and the lake stretches across 75 miles. We are also just 10 minutes from Snead State College and 10 min from the Hospital. We are 1 hr between Hunstville & Birmingham. Our space is unique because we live at a higher altitude on the edge of a bluff and you can see such beautiful scenery for miles. We are 1 hr between Huntsville & Birmingham. 30 min from Lake Guntersville. We are 10 min from the local college & 10 min from the Hospital. This space is a private suite above the garage. It is attached to the house but NO COMMON AREAS ARE SHARED WITH OUR FAMILY. The entrance is thru the garage and our family will not use this entrance while we have guests. You have total privacy. You will not be able to hear us and we cannot hear you as the rest of the house is downstairs and has a locked door. There is a mini fridge, microwave & a coffee bar in your room. You have access to the front porch (read house rules), and the majority of the 5 acres, except for the woods & the back yard. Since common house spaces are not shared, we respect the privacy of our guests & will not bother you except to check in on you to be sure you have everything you need for a comfy stay. I am very outgoing and a talker. Hubs however is an introvert and is friendly. However a lot of people at first look at him think he’s a big mean guy. 😂😂😂 He’s So far from that!!😁 Our neighborhood is unique because we are out in the country at a higher level, living on the edge of a Bluff. We live in what I call a "Country Cul-de-sac". For transportation, you can call a lyft or uber driver. There is also access to a small airport nearby called the Albertville Municipal Airport. It is NOT a commercial airport. Our Cottage Style Stay is intended as a "get-away" from all the hustle and bustle. It's intended to help you relax and enjoy some down time. So, we do not have a TV or Wi-fi in your Suite. You have easy access to USB chargers for your devices if you enjoy watching netflix, hulu and etc from your personal device (phone) that has internet.
