Welcome to Kentucky & Bourbon Country! Jenny's Place includes your own private lower-level walkout suite, with all the amenities, nestled in a quiet subdivision. We are centrally located near many events and activities, including the Bourbon Trail, Four Roses Bottling (5 min away), Jim Beam Distillery (10 min away) and Bernheim Forest (10 min away). We are conveniently located 15 minutes from Bardstown, the Most Beautiful Small Town in America. Come see us! The space *This is a smoke-free property* Enjoy a bright and open guest suite, with your own private entrance in the back of the main home. We offer easy self check-in with a keypad. Amenities include one queen bed with memory foam mattress; a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, sink and snacks; a fully stocked coffee bar for that morning cup of joe; a bathroom with all the extras (towels, shampoo, soaps, lotions, hairdryer, etc); a cozy living room with comfy couch, relaxing fireplace, TV with streaming services ( Roku, HBOmax, Netflix, Chromecast) and a DVD player (yes we're a little old school). Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of bourbon on your own private patio, overlooking a wooded backyard. We are currently in the process of converting a portion of the yard into a Certified Wildlife Habitat! Of course there is free wifi and off-street parking in the driveway. If you need an additional sleeping area, a full size blowup mattress can be provided. Guest access You will have the entire lower level guest suite to yourself. You will have your own designated parking spot in the driveway. The private entrance is located through the backyard gate and under the deck, just a few steps away. You will enter with a keypad-coded lock. Other things to note The heat and air conditioning are controlled on the main level and is set at a comfortable 70 degrees. You will find that the basement stays a little cool in the evening. Bring a sweater if you are cold-natured or feel free to turn on the fireplace (it warms up the space nicely). Plenty of extra blankets are provided as well. THIS IS A SMOKE FREE PROPERTY. No smoking or vaping allowed. Smoking or vaping on the property will result in an additional $200 cleaning fee. Since this is our home, and smoke lingers upstairs into our living area, we are very strict about this. No exceptions. I always like to inform my quests that we have one security camera used to monitor the exterior of our home. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy and other policies noted here. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas and will NEVER extend to the inside of the home, ever. To disable or obscure the outside camera is prohibited.
