Villa Gioli, a historic home amid art and nature

Villa Gioli is nestled in a park of centuries-old oaks surrounded by woods, vineyards, and olive groves. It is a historical residence recognized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage as an artist's house and that preserves its ancient nineteenth-century structure intact. It has been owned by our family since the time when it was inhabited by Macchia painters Francesco and Luigi Gioli. Guests who stay at Villa Gioli have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a harmonious environment where nature and culture have been talking to each other for centuries. The space Villa Gioli is a perfect place to gather families, groups of friends, but also scholars and art lovers, it is a short distance from the art cities of Pisa and Florence and not far from the coasts of Versilia. The villa is rented for exclusive use, has seven bedrooms and four bathrooms located on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a large fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room overlooking the garden, two living rooms, a studio with desk and internet connection, a bathroom with shower, a washing machine. You'll also find a small consecrated chapel suitable for ceremonies. It ispossible to access the tower and visit the painters studio and the altana from which you can enjoy a wonderful view, these spaces, upon request, can be used to practice yoga or gymnastics. The outdoor spaces, also for exclusive use, are equipped with swimming pool, outdoor dining tables, relaxation areas equipped with armchairs and side tables, table tennis table and badminton court, games for children. Guest access The villa is halfway between Pisa and Livorno, easily reachable by car with ample parking space within the property. The nearest airport is Pisa (20 km.), the train stations are in Pisa, Livorno, Pontedera. Access for people with disabilities is guaranteed by an electric staircase that connects the ground floor to the first floor. Other things to note For weekly rentals there is a two hour cleaning on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for longer rentals, sheets and linens will be changed on Saturdays, everything is included in the price. You will find a small welcome expense with which to prepare an aperitif. A lunch or dinner can be arranged with a trusted external catering upon request. A gardener manages the garden and the pool.
