Villa Gioli, a historic home amid art and nature

Villa Gioli is immersed in a park of centuries-old oaks surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves. It is a historic residence recognized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage as an artist's house and preserves its ancient nineteenth-century structure. It has been owned by our family since the time when it was inhabited by the Macchiaioli painters Francesco and Luigi Gioli. Those who stay at Villa Gioli have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a harmonious environment where nature and culture have been in dialogue with each other for centuries. The space Villa Gioli is a perfect place to bring together families, groups of friends, but also scholars and art lovers. It is located a short distance from the art cities of Pisa and Florence and not far from the coasts of Versilia. The villa is rented for exclusive use, has seven bedrooms and four bathrooms located on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a large fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room overlooking the garden, two living rooms, a study with a desk and internet connection, a bathroom with a shower, and a washing machine. You will also find a small consecrated chapel suitable for ceremonies. You can access the tower and visit the painters' studio and the roof terrace from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. These spaces, upon request, can be used to practice yoga or gymnastics. The outdoor spaces, also for exclusive use, are equipped with a swimming pool, tables for outdoor dining, relaxation areas equipped with armchairs and tables, a ping pong table and badminton court, and children's games. Guest access The villa is located halfway between Pisa and Livorno, and is easily accessible by car with a large parking space within the property. The nearest airport is Pisa (20 km), the train stations are in Pisa, Livorno, Pontedera. Access for disabled people is guaranteed by an electric stair lift that connects the ground floor to the first floor. Other things to note For weekly rentals, a two-hour cleaning is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays; for longer rentals, sheets and linen will be changed on Saturdays, all of which is included in the price. You will find a small welcome shopping with which to prepare an aperitif. Upon request, we can arrange a lunch or dinner with a trusted external caterer. A gardener takes care of the garden and pool.
