Villa Gioli is set in a park of ancient oaks, surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves. It is a historic residence recognized by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage as an artist’s house, preserving its 19th-century character. The villa has belonged to our family since it was home to the Macchiaioli painters Francesco and Luigi Gioli. Located a short distance from the art cities of Pisa and Florence and not far from the Versilia coast, the villa offers an exclusive experience immersed in history and nature, in a private, quiet, and safe setting, away from traffic and perfect for moments of total privacy. Rented exclusively, the villa has seven bedrooms and four bathrooms on the first floor. On the ground floor, you will find a large fully equipped kitchen, an elegant living room, a spacious dining room overlooking the garden, a study with desk and internet connection, plus a bathroom with shower and a laundry room. The property also includes a small consecrated chapel, perfect for intimate ceremonies. Guests have access to the tower, the painters’ studio, and the panoramic terrace, with breathtaking views of the surroundings; these spaces can be used, on request, for yoga or exercise. Outside, the villa’s exclusive spaces include a swimming pool, large relaxing areas surrounded by greenery, tables for outdoor dining, ping pong, a badminton court, and children’s play areas, ensuring an elegant, safe, and undisturbed stay, where adults and children can enjoy the spaces freely and immerse themselves in a harmonious environment where nature, art, and culture dialogue with each other. Guest access The villa is ideally located midway between Pisa and Livorno, easily accessible by car, with ample private parking on the property. The nearest airport is Pisa (20 km), and the train stations in Pisa, Livorno, and Pontedera provide convenient connections throughout Tuscany. Accessibility for guests with reduced mobility is ensured by an electric lift connecting the ground floor to the first floor, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the villa’s elegant spaces in comfort. Other things to note For weekly stays, a two-hour cleaning service is provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays; for longer stays, bed linens and towels are also changed on Saturdays. All these services are included in the price. Upon arrival, guests will find a small welcome selection, perfect for preparing an aperitif and beginning to enjoy the villa’s atmosphere.
