Guest access Guests can access the accommodation from the main entrance (completely autonomous) located near the terrace on the first floor, accessible from the outside by a convenient external staircase of a few steps. Other things to note Guests can choose whether they prefer to take a relaxing vacation, staying mainly in the park, making small trips to Assisi and the nearest surroundings (the historic city already offers a large and famous cultural heritage to visit with the Basilica of San Francesco and the other Franciscan places, such as San Damiano, San Rufino, Santa Chiara, the Hermitage of the Prisons, with the famous paintings by Giotto, Cimabue, and other great Masters) or they can also opt for longer excursions (of 1/2 hours at most) to visit all of Umbria and other beautiful medieval cities such as Spoleto, Gubbio, Montefalco, Bevagna, Perugia, Spello, rich in history and cultural and landscape beauty. But they can also visit in a day natural landscapes of unique beauty such as Castelluccio di Norcia (an hour and a half by car), Lake Trasimeno (an hour by car) and its islands, the Marmore waterfall (an hour and a half by car), etc. They can enjoy good Umbrian food (here you eat well almost everywhere) and a good wine, especially in Bevagna and Montefalco, where there are many wineries and wine bars (we recommend visiting the "Carapace" of Bevagna and tasting the famous Sagrantino di Montefalco wine. Finally, if they wish, they can also take day trips to Rome or Florence (by car it takes about two hours) or take a trip to the sea of Portonovo di Ancona with its spectacular scenery (about two hours by car, continuing from the same Via San Fortunato).
