Description

Looking for a break, try our lovely 2-level 1,000 square foot cottage. Wood burning stove bring your own firewood, etc. 4KM to Mont Tremblant National Park. Need to work, high speed internet and fast MESH Wi-Fi. Shared hot tub between 2 cottages. The dock with access to the kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, etc. is shared with our main house and our family. NO BBQ in winter. There is plenty of room for all but we just want to be clear it is shared. CITQ # 298403 The space Two level; lower level, living room with wood stove (not for use during warm days or nights - April to November - bring your own kindling, starter and firewood - we do not supply) and full bathroom with a big bathtub and separate 3' x 5' glass shower with access to the hot tub (shared with other one bedroom cottage). Watch a movie, TV series on our 50" LED TV equipped with Fire TV (Amazon Prime, Crave, Netflix, etc.) no cable TV. Upper level has 2 bedrooms, powder room, dinning room, island with seating for 4 and full kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave. One bedroom has a queen bed and looks out through the patio door at the lake. The second bedroom can be set as a full king bed or two singles giving you an option for 3 beds in total for four guests maximum. Enjoy the lake and mountain views, plus the wildlife. You will find all the dishes and utensils you need and an array of cookware. For breakfast a toaster and Keurig coffee maker (we supply the pods). You will also find robes and extra towels for the hot tub where you can soak with a view the lake. No BBQ during the winter months. We have two friendly dogs on the property. They cannot go to the cottage. We are owner operators, with 2 cottages for short term rental. We have all the permits, insurance coverage, and we pay GST/PST, our background is in tourism. CITQ # 298403 Guest access The entire 1,000 square foot cottage is yours to enjoy. Our home is 40 feet away, providing you with your space but we are close by if you need us. The lake is beautiful in all seasons. You have 2 parking spaces steps from the front door. The hot tub is shared with another one bedroom cottage, each cottage is invited to use the hot tub exclusively. If some one is using it, wait for them to leave. We rigorously maintain the chemicals to ensure sanitation. During the summer we have kayaks and related equipment, three single person kayaks, one tandem, two SUPs and lifejackets, these are required when using our watercraft. This cottage is located on a property where there are three buildings in total, the boathouse one bedroom cottage, this cottage (two bedrooms) and a main house (where we live). The property has 275 feet of waterfront and is on the north side of this beautiful lake, giving us sun all day. We have 2 friendly dogs on the property. They are used to interacting with guests (5 years) as well they are limited in their territory by an electronics fence. We are at the water's edge and Quebec regulations that the first 10 meters from the lake be left in its natural state. We have tall grass, shrubs, etc. We tend to let our grounds flourish with wild flowers for the bees and hummingbirds. Other things to note If you need groceries we have a gourmet grocery (L'etalage) store 1 minute away by car, they have everything, baked goods, meats/fish, vegetables and fruits, a wide variety of beverages and it is an accredited SAP agency so they have good wines, liquor and a wide selection of micro-brewed beers. Also close by, less than 2 minutes by car you will find our restaurant Le Rustique, a 90 year log building filled with history. The food is based around local produce and wild fish and game (venison, Wapiti, Dore, etc.). Our properties are completely authorized; we have a municipal permits, registered and inspected by the CITQ # 298403 and well as fully insured as short term rental units. We pay federal (GST) and provincial (QST) sales tax and Quebec's accommodation tax. Please consider this as you compare prices with other rentals.
