This captains house was built in 1854 and all traditional aspects have been kept, yet the house has been refurbished and modernized. Only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the new harbour and a 20 minute walk to the old harbour, it is perfect for families or a large group of people. The space The house is around 600sq meters. The rental rate includes both the main house and guest house and all the garden property. The main house is based on two different levels and includes 5 bedrooms (3 upstairs and 2 downstairs), 1 kitchen, 2 living rooms & 4 bathrooms. The bedroom layout is as follows: - Bedroom #1 - The master ensuite bedroom is located on the bottom floor. - Bedroom #2 - There is another bedroom on the bottom floor with twin beds that can be used as a 'childrens' room and is next to the kitchen. There is a bathroom right outside the bedroom. - Bedroom #3 - Upstairs, there is a double bed - bedroom with sea view - Bedroom #4 - Upstairs, there is a twin/double bedroom (beds pushed together, can be used as twin or double, partial sea view). - Bedroom #5 - Upstairs there is a second twin/double room (again with 2 beds pushed together) with pool view. - There are 2 bathrooms located upstairs The guest house has its own separate entrance and is comprised of one bedroom (double bed), one bathroom and a living room (with sofa bed) together with a kitchenette. There is also another bedroom that is not listed with the rest of the bedrooms. This is an extra room that can be used as a service/maids room and has a separate entrance to the house and its own bathroom. Inside the garden, there is a covered garage area where you can store bikes/quads/bicycles. There is a small plunge pool in the back garden with sun loungers next to the pool house. In the pool house there is a seating area and some family activities available for fun and games, such as badminton and a ping pong table. The house is a 5-10 minute walk from the new port (with a small uphill at the end of the walk). It is ideally located close to many restaurants / cafes / shops. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTICE: After you have completed your reservation, the person who made the reservation will be asked to provide their full name and passport details, so that we can submit the reservation to the ‘Short Term Residence Registry’ in accordance with Greek legislation of the Independent Public Revenue Authority of Greece (AADE). Greek visitors will need to provide either their AFM or ID number. This information is required for our annual income tax return.
