My place is 6 miles east of Mineola, TX. Close to antique shopping, Mineola nature preserve, public lakes, 30 minutes to Canton First Monday trades days, and many other spotlights in East Texas. You’ll love my place because of the cozy, farmhouse atmosphere and country living. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Not suitable for kids or children, and I do not allow pets or animals of any kind on the property. The space My guesthouse has been in my family for years and belonged to my grandparents. It has been a place where our family gathered to celebrate holidays and share meals for over 50 years. There are cattle in the pastures surrounding the house. Guests are not allowed entry to other parts of the property through any gates during their stay. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and the yard around the house. There is a beautiful, peaceful view of the lake. Other things to note We have animals on the property that you will see in the pasture, in their pens, or out and about. Please do not go through any of the gates and into the pasture with the livestock. You will most likely be greeted by the dogs, Sister and Pip, at some point during stay…they are big dogs but friendly. Because of the animals that live here, I do not accept any reservations from guests that want to bring animals/pets with them. Also, I do not accept children as guests for any reservation.
