Luxury beach house, Cornwall - the perfect getaway

Wow. Sea views everywhere. The best located cottage in Kingsand (probably) for stunning views, 5 star rated Storm Cottage is right on the beach, with two ocean balconies, a sun deck and parking for 3 cars. This light filled house has a calm coastal New England feel - with quirky touches of Cath Kidston & Mini Moderns. There are foodie pubs within 200 yds and two sandy/pebble safe beaches with clear rockpools. Kingsand is in Cornwall's beautiful forgotten corner - a ferry hop from Plymouth. The space The house is an upside down house with the living space upstairs affording beautiful sea views of historic Cawsand Bay, Plymouth Sound and Devon in the distance. The decor is calm and creamy Farrow and Ball with a New England feel, with small luxuries like Smeg and Dualit kitchen equipment and home furnishings from Cath Kidston and Mini Moderns, as well as Cornish brands like Seakisses and local artist Helen Round. The main bedroom has stunning sea views with an en-suite basement bathroom with rolltop bath and portholes out to the sea! From its private balcony the en-suite loft bedroom has one of the most epic views in Cornwall - of Kingsand and the ocean. Our cabin style bedroom with two single beds, topped with luxury mattresses, works well for (good) kids. They'll love being right next to two beaches, with a football sized yard outside. The lounge is bathed in light with windows looking out across the bay and french doors opening out onto an oceanside balcony - perfect for watching the kids swim, paddle boarding and kayakers. We have a well appointed duck egg blue shaker kitchen diner, featuring a new cooker, with views of our historic clocktower and doors out to a sunny deck to dine out on with sea views. For tech junkies we are fully broadbanded up with superfast wifi and a smart TV with a DVD. Guest access All of the house, if required - with parking for three cars. Other things to note No dogs due to owners’ allergies and cream furniture. Sorry! Access to the cottage parking is narrow. Nervous drivers or owners of lovely new cars may want to initially park in the public carpark - and size up the space first.
