The Barn is a classically converted five bedroom barn with beautiful exposed beams and stone walls. Nestled in the quiet village of Shellingford, Faringdon, Oxford and the national trail The Ridgeway are all within easy reach. The Barn is just one of five properties at Goodlake Barns which all centre around a spacious courtyard. The space The Barn is a large and modern self catering holiday cottage near Faringdon, offering spacious luxury accommodation for 10 guests in 5 comfortable bedrooms. The large living area with chess table opens out onto the lawn and the well stocked kitchen makes catering a breeze. There is a central hub which is a flexible space and can be hired for dinner or meetings depending on your groups needs. The hub is big enough to seat everyone together if booking more than one barn. Please note that the hub is only available on request. One of five beautifully converted Goodlake Barns which all surround the central courtyard, The Barn can be booked for a large group booking of more than 10 guests with the other Goodlake Barns to offer flexibility to groups of family and friends. Accommodation This large 5 bedroom holiday cottage near Farringdon offers ample space and a great location with plenty to explore nearby including the beautiful Cotswolds which is right on the doorstep! Goodlake Barns is the perfect base from which to explore the North Wessex Downs and the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Cotswold accommodation is laid out as follows: Ground Floor Living room Spacious and welcoming living room with log burner, sofas and TV plus chess table, doors open out on the lawn and courtyard, and really fill the space with light Kitchen/dining Modern kitchen with gas hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, large dining table can seat ten Bedroom 3 with ensuite (Sleeps 2) Super king size bed with ensuite shower room Bedroom 5 (Sleeps 2) Two single beds off the living area with wardrobe First Floor Master bedroom with ensuite (Sleeps 2) Super king size bed with ensuite bathroom Bedroom 2 with ensuite (Sleeps 2) Super king size bed (can be two single beds on request) with en-suite shower room Family bathroom Walk-in shower, basin and loo Bedroom 4 (Sleeps 2) Two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers Outside Huge enclosed communal courtyard with seating plus large lawn to the rear of the barn. The lawn is also a communal area Private parking is available Guest access Guest access details will be provided in the welcome letter. Other things to note The maximum occupancy for this property is 10 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, the occupancy can only be exceeded by 3 additional infants (aged 2 or under) Bed linen and towels are provided Off-street parking is available for up to 2 cars in the courtyard, with additional overflow parking available nearby Infant friendly - there is 1 travel cot and 1 highchair available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as these are not provided) Sorry pets not allowed Stong WiFi in the barn Smart TV Mobile phone reception can be poor The barns share an enclosed communal courtyard and lawn space There are table and chairs in front of the barn A BBQ is available for the barn complex, please be considerate of other guests. Please note that coal is only supplied to guests between 1st April – 30th September. Starter supply of wood provided for the wood burning stoves from October to April only The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property Things to Note... Hen and Stag groups are not permitted and single sex parties on request Commercial and work related bookings on request Events are not permitted without prior consent The Barn is part of a larger estate, Goodlake Barns, where there are neighbouring holiday lets. We politely request that guests are considerate of these neighbours. With this in mind, please do not gather outside after 10pm, and ensure that any music is not audible outside the property after 10pm A security deposit is required at this property Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00 The hub can be hired for an additional £250 Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
