Italian farmhouse - private pool, sleeps 10.

La Casella is an attractive farmhouse situated in an olive grove just below the village of Canalicchio in Umbria the ‘green heart of Italy’. The house has been sympathetically modernised to provide comfortable accommodation for at least 10 people with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and large living areas. There are excellent terraces for outdoor eating with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and a large fenced sole use swimming pool with its own pergola. There is a smaller building next to the main house which is not rentable but will be empty when guests are there. The track to the house is bumpy and not suitable for low cars. Other things to note In the house there are full details of places to visit, shop and eat in all these towns During the late Winter months of February, March and April, the Umbrian weather can be unpredictable and sometimes cold, although there are usually warm sunny days as well. During this period, the house downstairs can be heated by a pellet stufa in the dining room/kitchen and a large open fire in the sitting room. Fuel for both of these is provided.
