Balcony Apartment with mountain views

Self contained, one bedroomed village apartment on the 1st floor of a traditional stone property, situated on a quiet road on the outskirts of the village. Overlooking fields of olive and carob trees and impressive stands of prickly pear cactuses with wonderful mountains views providing a dramatic backdrop for fabulous sunsets. Many migrating and native birds grace us with their presence, from migrating swallows and bee eaters to greenfinches, hoopoe, golden oriole, kestrels, doves and more. The space A bright and spacious, self contained apartment; one of three in a traditional stone built property located on a quiet road on the outskirts of Pentakomo village square. The rooms have been simply furnished featuring painted wooden floorboards throughout and natural materials wherever possible. We try to keep the rooms free from unnecessary clutter while providing little touches that we hope make the spaces unique. The apartment includes a living space/kitchenette, bedroom with ensuite shower room and an external dining area on the balcony. Both the bedroom and living space overlook the mountains. From the balcony, enjoy the early morning birdsong and views of the mountains across the fields of carob and olive trees and the stunning evening sunsets. The apartment has been equipped with everything you will hopefully need to enjoy your holiday, including all bed linen, towels and beach towels. For most of the year, our water is solar heated. We provide basic welcome items for your arrival including teas, coffees, fruit juice and small snacks. There are pots in the communal spaces containing different herbs, peppers & chillies (when successful!) and limes which guests are welcome to use. The village currently has two popular tavernas serving typical Cypriot dishes, including the traditional kleftiko. The supermarket is well stocked with fresh produce. Everything you need is within 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment, so after a day exploring the island or relaxing on the beach, you can enjoy an evening in the village or outside on the balcony. This village is very friendly and welcoming and many of our guests, family and friends, fall in love with the place and return regularly. Guest access Key collection is organised with the hosts. Self check in is possible. Access to the apartments is via a communal secure entrance gate, with code. Other things to note To allow for cleaning and to air the apartments, we aim to avoid back to back bookings where possible. We have a cat and a tortoise that live with us in the ground floor apartment when we are in Cyprus. The property comprises three apartments and access to the building is via a communal front entrance gate, with an entry code. We aim to ensure that all guests fully enjoy their stay with us. However, if you are looking for total privacy, please note that the two guest apartments are situated on the first floor and share access via the stairs. Our guests usually find the occasional interaction with us and other guests is enjoyable and a positive addition to their holiday experience ! We try to keep our rates competitively priced. For most of the year, our hot water is solar heated. We do apply an extra charge of €3 per day, to cover extra electricity costs, for those guests who would like to use the air conditioning or electric heating.
