Our fully renovated first floor apartment is located in the very centre of Aldbourne, just 8 miles from Marlborough. Traditionally styled but with up to date touches, it has an elegant, light and airy feel. White Company Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy towels. The space could also be used as a peaceful haven in which to work. There is a dining table and comfortable chair, Nespresso machine, excellent wi-fi. The space Our first floor apartment is a unique place to stay in Aldbourne. It is in the heart of the village, with all its fantastic facilities, but offers the flexibility of self catering accommodation. Guest access The apartment is completely self contained. It has an open plan living/dining/kitchen with a bedroom area and separate shower room. The front door is for guest use only. Other things to note Please note that whilst the entrance is at street level the apartment is on the first floor, so guests must be able to manage the stairs. The bed can also be made up as 2 singles - please request this when you send you booking request. Tea, coffee and milk are always available for guests to help themselves. Plenty of breakfast supplies are available from our local Post Office (1 minute walk away) as they have fresh bread deliveries each day, fresh eggs, local honey, etc. etc. They also have a cafe so if you're feeling like you want someone else to cook your breakfast they make all the usual breakfast dishes. They also have a fantastic deli counter and serve coffees and lunches and cakes throughout the day. There is also a Co-op, 5 minutes walk away. There’s a fresh fish van that comes to the square 3-5pm every Thursday and a Fish & Chip van in Lottage Road every Thursday evening. There’s is a takeaway in the square too or you can arrange delivery with a local Indian restaurant The Burj (10 minutes drive). Both pubs (The Crown and The Blue Boar) serve pub food. If you want to bring bicycles I can give you an access code to store them when not in use - our garden is next to the apartment. If you have a bike that needs to be stored inside then that can be arranged too.
