The studio, very bright and quiet, overlooking a nice courtyard, has been completely renovated. The space The edifice ia a typical Florence historical building of the fourteenth century, as evinced by the coat of arms on top of the main door. The entrance is very nice with stone staircases and antique prints of the city, it is said that in this building was born the famous renaissance artist Botticelli, although no one knows exactly in which room. The house has a bedroom / living room with equipped kitchen, a bathroom with large shower box and window. The coffered wooden ceiling is original. Guest access The host will rent the whole apartment. Towels and linen kit are included. Bed come with hotel quality linen and top quality towels (one big shower towel, one face towel and one small bidet towel per person), soap and shampoo. The house is equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, microwave, hair dryer, LCD tv screen, Wi-Fi internet connection, Bluetooth dock station and kitchen with everything you need. Baby cot available on request. Other things to note The police office of Florence requires that every guest is registered when arrived in town, so after your arrival we ask you to take a picture of your passport/ID or the details of it by message or WA. If you arrive by train: The express trains from the main cities such as Venice, Bologna, Rome, Milan and Pisa arrive directly at the Santa Maria Novella train station, which is only 5 minutes walking from the apartment. If you arrive by car: We suggest a private garage which is located just one minute walk from our building: GARAGE EUROPA Via Borgognissanti 29. Cost is €25 per 24 hours. The historic center of Florence is a limited traffic zone area (ZTL area), therefore, special rules to enter or park in this area are apply. The studio is located in the ZTL area. When you arrived at the parking, if you require them, they will avoid the fine communicating the license plate number of your car to the authority. If you arrive by plane: The Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci, is located approximately 20 minutes by taxi, at the cost of approx €25, or by Tramvia (kind of surface underground) from the city center. This train will drive you from there to the main train station and back. Have you considered flying to Pisa? The Galileo Galilei Pisa Airport is, most of the time, a much cheaper and better serviced, yet convenient option to travel to Florence. Shuttle buses connect Pisa airport to Florence Santa Maria Novella train station 24 hours a day, with a journey just under the hour for approximately 10 Euro.
