Steeped in history, the house has been home to several notable residents, including the renowned engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who lived here with his family in 1848. The walk back up can be a bit steep and may be challenging for guests with limited mobility. Torquay has plenty of parking available and taxis are easy to find if you’d rather not walk.
