It is a short 40 minute drive to Carcassonne with its mediaeval cite. Port Minervois is an ideal location from which to explore the Cathar territory as well as visit the wineries of the Minervois/Corbieres. The villa is a detached holiday home of approximately 60 m² with two bedrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a private garden and sun terrace. Free parking is provided. The nearby Canal du Midi is ideal for walking, cycling and picnicking. Bicycles can be hired in the village or at the bar on site. Sun beds are available for hire at the bar/restaurant. This is an ideal location for a family holiday. There is a small playground on site, a football/basketball area and naturally a boules area. Olonzac, 1km away has a fabulous athmospheric market every Tuesday morning. Other things to note You will be met and greeted on arrival. All bed linen and towels provided.
