Discounted long stays & Xmas/NY welcome - pls DM me. Late Sun checkout The space The perfect spot from which to enjoy family beach holidays or grown up weekends with friends. Kings View is literally steps away from the water, where you can hop on the ferry (or your boat from Whitestrand pontoon) to access the golden beaches of East Portlemouth and the stunning South West Coast Path walks. You can pull up to unload/load right outside and from the moment you step through the private entrance you will feel at home. There's plenty of storage in the hallway for shoes, coats, wetsuits and the all essential beach toys. The staircase leads to a half landing with bathroom; ideal for washing sandy toes after a day on beach. Just a few more stairs to the first floor living space where there's a fully fitted and equipped kitchen including gas hob, electric double oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, large cafetière and Nespresso style coffee machine. A pretty window seat and small table & chairs provides a perfect spot to sit for morning coffee, reading a book or catching up on a few emails. Across the bright galleried landing takes you to the charming and light filled sitting / dining room with views along Fore Street. Great for people watching! Furnished with a pair of comfortable leather sofas and 2 comfy club armchairs, cushions and throws to snuggle with, a large TV with EE Entertainment package including Netflix, EE TV, DVD, Wifi, Bose Bluetooth speaker, gas coal effect fireplace and wooden floors. The dining area has a large contemporary glass table with 2 carver chairs and 2 large benches seating 8 people in total. A big selection of holiday reading and board games are available for guest use too. There is also a shower room on this floor, with WC, handbasin with mirror over and shelves for toiletries storage. Up to the next half landing you will find the bijou terracotta tiled roof terrace - a superb private sun trap! Equipped with rattan table and stools to seat 4 people, with gas BBQ, solar fairy lights and privacy screening. Here you can enjoy alfresco drinks over supper and catch the last of the evening sun with views of pretty pastel coloured Salcombe homes and Salcombe's Grade II listed church beyond. There's also a handy hosepipe for washing out wetsuits and peg rail for hanging them to dry outside. A few more stairs to the second floor take you to the comfortable and cosy carpeted bedrooms with super comfy beds and white linen. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed (5’) with built in wardrobes and drawers, bed side tables and lamps, dressing table, mirrors & TV. Bedroom 2 has a double bed (4’6"), bedside tables and lamps, peg rail, hanging rail, mirror, small chest of drawers, views over Fore Street. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds (5’ 10" x 3’), a bedside table and lamp, built in wardrobe and drawers, mirror - and small estuary glimpses through the window between the houses opposite! Bedroom 4 has bunk beds (2’6"), (children only on top bunk), small chest of drawers, bedside lamp, small mirror and peg rail for hanging. Complimentary paid parking for 1 vehicle with season ticket in long stay Creek Car Park (unreserved) provided between 1st April and 30th September and Shadycombe between 1st October and 31st March. This is just a short 6-7 minute level walk away. Should you need it (although unlikely with everything so close by!), additional parking can be purchased in the same car park. All bedding, crisp white bed linen, blankets and bath & hand towels provided and beds ready and made-up on arrival. Beach towels are not provided, so please do remember to bring your own! All windows double glazed for warmth and soundproofing. Easy self check-in: access via key safe box in porch. 2 or 3 night short stays accepted depending on check in day and season. 7 nights minimum stay from end June to end August with check in day being a Saturday due to set changeover day during peak summer season. For other times of the year we are very happy to be flexible so please send me a message and we will try to accommodate your request. Discounted long stays possible for leisure / business stays during low / shoulder season - please DM me. Victoria 😊 Guest access Easy access on foot with almost everything only a few mins walk away including pubs, fish & chips, coffee shops, Cranches, the bakery, butchers and fishmongers! North & South Sands beaches both easily walkable in 15 & 25 mins respectively, but the stunning East Portlemouth beaches are even closer, reachable by a 5 min ferry ride or via your own or a hired boat from Whitestrand pontoon, just literally steps from the property. Co-op supermarket is a level 6/7 min walk, passing by a great assortment of shops on both Fore St and Island St en-route. Parking also very close to Co-op at either the Creek or Shadycombe Car Parks, depending on the season, a complimentary parking permit is provided for 1 car. Just a 6/7 minute level walk from the property, not that you would need a car while staying in the heart of Salcombe :-) Other things to note Kings View - Salcombe Hideaway - a spacious maisonette - exclusively yours for your entire stay, with a secure private entrance straight into the cloakroom with storage for lots of shoes & coats / life jackets / beach gear etc on the ground floor. Space to pull up and unload/load luggage with paid permit parking (unreserved) supplied for 1 car in the town car park (Creek or Shadycombe dependent on season, please check before parking) - only a short level walk from property. Please also note: - No smoking or vaping. - No parties. - No groups of unaccompanied teenagers or under 21 year olds - Regret, no dogs or other pets. - Kings View is a typical Salcombe property spread across 3 levels - ground floor entrance hallway, first floor kitchen & sitting room, plus bathroom, second floor is the bedrooms level. Lots of stairs but they are not steep and have handrails throughout.
