Buttonwood One - Pondview room; count the fish!

Pondview room is in our home. Check out the Cahoe (one room log cabin) also at our Buttonwood property. So close to all the tourist attractions of Niagara but a little piece of paradise away from it all. It is a very quiet and peaceful space in the middle of a Carolinian woodland. You will hear frogs and an astounding number of birds in the spring. And yes we have mosquitos in the summer of course. If you enjoy a hearty country breakfast, then this is the place for you! The space Pondview at Buttonwood is unique because of the special character of our home (1840's) and within the house, my love of antiques is obvious. There is lots of warm wood throughout our home, which makes Pondview very cozy and inviting. We have another room (by request) that offers a queen and a single as well. Guest access When I have guests in visiting my home, they have use of the living room, front porch and of course the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. They are welcome to explore the 15 acres of grounds and forest as well. In the summer of 2021 there will also be a "sauna for two" available for use. If the Buttonwood bedroom is occupied, then the living room, bathroom and front porch would be availabe to them as well and would be considered shared space, but I usually book the second room only on request. During your stay If I'm not at home, I will always make myself available by cel phone. Other things to note Hot breakfast is served between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Otherwise a continental breakfast will be available for guests. If you have a special requests, I always try to be accommodating so just let me know ahead of time. We also host honey bees on our property but they will not bother you unless you bother them.
