About 1 km as the crow flies from the sea and 1.4 km from Goleen, this old, 1826 built cottage is located in a park-like, with palm trees, roses, hydrangeas and rhododendrons about 9000 square meters large garden with about 450 square meters swimming pond and small round tower, which invites you to read. A real paradise for children. There is a sauna that can accommodate a good 4 people. A cold/warm outdoor shower, protected from view by a laurel hedge, is located directly next to the exit. The space The Mizen Peninsula at the southwesternmost point of Ireland is known worldwide for the beauty of its wild landscape and its historical heritage (Ringfort, Celtic Tombs). A tour of the Mizen Ring offers the opportunity to visit Ballydehob, Schull, Goleen, Bantry and even further away Skibbereen and Baltimore. Of course, attractions such as the botanical garden on Garinish Island - with a short boat trip past the seal banks - or the pilgrimage site of Gougane Barra invite you to linger. Great hikes on the Mizen Peninsula (Three Castle Head), the Sheepshead (up to the lighthouse), on Clare Island (Coast Walk) or directly from the house onto the adjacent mountains offer unforgettable views.
