Filippo Buonaccorsi, another important person, lived inside this Historical Palace, and studied in the Mainardi college next to our front door. The small square next to us bears his name. In the adjacent little square Buonaccorsi, next to the Palazzo, there is a lovely café with a nice open-air terrace where they serve delicious Italian breakfasts with cappuccino and brioche, homemade gelato, and light meals. At the tobacconist next door you can buy bus tickets and stamps. Opposite the café there is bakery bistrot bar with a choice of different types of bread, typical pastry, stuffed focaccias, bruschetta, cheese and cured meat platters, the best tipical wine, and more.. Next to the café there is a handy grocer's shop. Outside the gate there is a newsagent's with a selection of foreign press. Car are restricted in the centre of town, but it is possible to drive in front of the accommodation to unload and load your luggage.
