The Lantern Cottage - Lake Muskoka

This Muskoka cottage is a perfect getaway. It has a stylish, clean, airy decor. Small hot tub off the back deck. Good distance from neighbours for privacy. Suitable for couples, small families (max 4 people). Situated 60 m from Lake Muskoka with direct access to public dock, boat launch, sunset views, and fishing. Water access is a one minute stroll to the dock. Cottage has a lovely porch with screened in sitting area. Primary guest must be a responsible adult based on reviews. The space We have received great reviews from our guests. The cottage is close to a small public dock with direct access to Lake Muskoka. You can enter the lake to the left of the dock. It's has a sandy bottom, no rocks or weeds. Water is usually calm and flat. Experience the lake by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard (free for the use of guests and life jackets provided). You can also launch smaller power boats from the dock. Swimming is permitted from the dock as it is public access. Our guests typically prefer to use a small beach that is a 3 minute drive from the cottage for swimming and sun bathing. We are situated on a large, private lot with a lovely front porch, back deck, gazebo for outdoor dining, small hot-tub, and large fire pit with custom cedar muskoka chairs. After an evening BBQ enjoy a soak in the hot tub, take in a view of the fire, and gaze at the stars.
