Charming little house in Segovia

The space We offer you this charming house called "La Casa de la Tía Matea". Tía Matea lived here at the begining of XX century, and its name shows our tribute to our ancestors. La casa de la Tía Matea posseses all the commodities, but with the ancient style of rural constructions of gross stone walls, wood and traditional kitchen, in which you may try, if desired, to cook like our grandfathers did in the wood oven!. The house has 3 bedrooms (one of them independent), and three bathrooms. There is a comfortable sitting and dining room with a wood burning fire, a reading area and TV and DVD. The kitchen is fully equipped with regrigerator and freezer dishwasher, wood oven, vitro, washer, and anything you may need. The house possesses a beautiful patio, where you can enjoy of the warm atmosphere and surronding area, while preparing some barbeque or just simply relax. If you are interested in traditional spanish and castilian cook, do not hesitate to ask for support. We can provide with some typical and tastefull "cochinillo asado" (roasted baby pork) or "parro" (roasted duck) or baby lamb at Segovia style at home, if desired, or either recommend you some great places to go in the area. Of course, there are plenty of places to visit in a 30 minutes circle. As an example, you may start with Segovia (30 Km), enjoying its nerow streets, its Alcazar and its 2000 years old roman acueduct and La Granja (40 Km), with its elegant Royal palace close to the mountains. You may also go to Santa María la Real de Nieva (just 7 Km), discovering its wonderful cloister and in Nieva, just 2 minutes, the wonderful vineyards of Verdejo wine (white wine). Then, may be you want to discover the ancient city of Coca (19 KM), the origin of Roman Emperor Teodosio, with its marvelous brick castle. Or may be you prefer go to the medieval city of Cuellar (30 Km), or discover the Roman Villa of Puras-Almenara, (20 Km).
