Rohan, close to the Nantes-Brest Canal

We decorate the house by shopping in the nearby flea markets or with personal belongings and souvenirs. This is not an impersonal cottage, but our vacation home that we invite you to stay in. The space The house is organized on two floors. On the ground floor, a living room (with open fire) and a kitchen equipped with a dining area. There is also a small bedroom (140 cm bed) and a toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms. The first with a double bed (160 cm) and the second with two single beds. A bathroom (with washing machine) and a mezzanine area. The house can accommodate up to 5 people and has a folding crib + baby chair. It is a traditional stone house that we completely renovated inside in 2018. It has all the necessary comforts (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, Wi-Fi connection, espresso machine, etc.), close to many iconic places in Brittany, while guaranteeing you immersion in the calm of a bucolic countryside with direct access to the Nantes-Brest canal. We also provide many books and comics for children and adults and games for all ages. Outside a covered shelter for cars and a large garden without joint ownership of 2000 m². All outdoor equipment is available (garden table and armchairs, barbecue, outdoor games) as well as 4 adult bikes and a child bike that can be used. The house is 5 minutes by car (and 15 by bike along the towpath of the Nantes Brest canal) from the center of Rohan (Morbihan), which has all the necessary shops (small supermarket, bakery, some very pleasant restaurants). The direct environment is very quiet (small hamlet of 7 houses along the Nantes Brest canal) and the neighborhood is very friendly. The center of Brittany is a region that allows you to combine holidays in the countryside and at the sea. The first beaches (both on the north coast and on the south coast) are 45 minutes away. Lake Guerlédan and its possibilities for swimming, water sports and walks is 30 minutes away. The historic towns of Pontivy, Josselin and Vannes are 20, 30 and 45 minutes away respectively. The towpath of the canal offers many opportunities for walks and the house has plenty of activities within a radius of 30 km (horseback riding, acrobanches, lasergame, swimming pools, amusement parks). The region is also very culturally dynamic (contemporary art festival in the chapels around Pontivy, music festivals, fest noz, etc.). Other things to note Final cleaning is available for a flat-rate fee of 45 euros. The house is available year-round. The rental includes all charges. However, between November and April, we ask for a provision for electric heating of 12 euros per day of occupancy, adjusted at the end of the stay based on actual consumption.
