A little time out in the old barn

Our small, exclusive guest house was once the pigsty on our historic half-timbered courtyard from 1767. The space We converted the former pigsty a few years ago for our private guests. However, since it is too bad to leave the house empty for a long time in between, we have decided to open it up to new guests as well. :) The old barn with private entrance is open plan with living room, integrated kitchen and bathroom on the first floor, plus a sleeping gallery on the second floor. For a relaxing stay, we have now extended the departure time until 2:00 pm! :) Our small historic farm from 1767 is in a secluded location surrounded by fields, forest and meadows; nevertheless, the town center with bakeries, discounters, pharmacy, bank etc. is only two minutes away by car. The famous Ruhr Valley Cycle Route can be reached in about 800 m and there is a lockable room for the bicycles. When furnishing, we placed great importance on ensuring that our guests feel completely comfortable - starting with the cozy XXL sofa, beautiful dishes, fluffy hand and bath towels to oversized down comforters with high-quality, pleasant bedding. The large double bed is on a gallery, so you can enjoy the fantastic view over fields and meadows in the morning. A pellet stove with a window to the fire provides cozy warmth, air conditioning under the roof provides pleasantly cool summer nights and a 49" TV with a free HDMI connection for your own devices provides entertainment. In order to heat the house before getting up, the pellet stove can be switched on directly from bed using the remote control. The lighting system is also controlled by remote control. In addition, we attach great importance to cleanliness, so that you can feel comfortable and at home from the first moment without having to rinse, clean and disinfect first. To make it easier for our guests to carry their luggage, we provide bed linens, shower and hand towels, hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, soap and toilet paper. In the kitchen, coffee, tea, vinegar and oil, various spices, kitchen paper and napkins are available. Should you run out of something, we will of course provide a replacement directly. Our guest house invites you to simply relax and unwind and treat yourself to a little break in a beautifully designed ambience - or simply as an overnight accommodation for couples, solo travelers, cyclists, hikers, business travelers and people who do not want to sleep on the sofa after the big family celebration. Attention: There is no way to charge electric cars! Guest access The guest house is completely available for your own use. It has a separate entrance and is so far away from our living spaces that we won't notice each other. A lockable room can be used next door for bicycle storage. Other things to note On our farm there is a dog, cats, sheep, horses and free-range chickens.
